Is It OK to Wear Running Shoes for Walking?

Running shoes have different characteristics than walking shoes. Runners and fitness walkers should not run in walking shoes because walking shoes are too stiff and do not flex. However, walkers and fitness runners can find running shoes that meet their needs better than some walking shoes.
